Ingredients
- Dumplings (frozen or homemade)
- Soy Sauce
- Vegetable Broth
- Mixed Fresh Vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, green onions)
- Mozzarella Cheese (or vegan cheese)
- Fresh Herbs (cilantro or basil)
- Garlic, minced
- Ginger, grated
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté minced garlic and grated ginger for 1-2 minutes.
- Add mixed fresh vegetables and cook for 4-5 minutes until softened.
- Stir in soy sauce and vegetable broth, allowing the mixture to come to a gentle simmer.
- Start layering in a baking dish: place a base of dumplings, followed by the vegetable sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of sauce and cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Make layers in advance and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Can also be cooked in an air fryer at 360°F (182°C) for a crispy finish.
