- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, garlic, and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the broccoli and carrots, stir-frying for about 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet, add soy sauce, and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
