Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, garlic, and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add the broccoli and carrots, stir-frying for about 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet, add soy sauce, and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
  • Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
