Description

A hearty and comforting casserole made with ground beef, sweet corn, creamy mushroom soup, and topped with crispy tater tots and melted cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) sweet corn, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the sweet corn and cream of mushroom soup, mixing until well combined; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Layer the frozen tater tots evenly over the beef mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese bubbles.

Notes

For a make-ahead option, prepare the casserole in advance and store in the refrigerator until ready to bake. You can also customize with additional vegetables or spices.
