Description

Elvis Presley Cake, also known as Jailhouse Rock Cake, is a delicious dessert inspired by the King of Rock and Roll himself. This cake features a moist vanilla base topped with a rich pineapple and cream cheese frosting, making it a perfect treat for fans of Elvis.

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Mix until well combined.
  3. Fold in the crushed pineapple and chopped pecans.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
