- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the split English muffins on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over each muffin half.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- In a skillet, cook the eggs sunny-side up or to your preference.
- Top each muffin with cooked sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, and a cooked egg.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
