Description

A delicious and healthy oatmeal apple cake that is guilt-free and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 cup grated apples
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the applesauce, grated apples, honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool before slicing and serving.
