Description

Delicious and flaky peach hand pies filled with sweet peach filling, perfect for a delightful dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine diced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cornstarch. Mix well.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the peach mixture in the center of each circle.
  5. Fold the crust over to create a half-moon shape and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with the egg wash made from beaten egg and milk.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the peach filling.
