A delicious fusion of traditional baklava and creamy cheesecake, topped with a sweet honey sauce.

- 1 cup pistachios, chopped
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Fold in the chopped pistachios.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- While the cheesecake is baking, prepare the honey sauce by combining honey, water, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat until it thickens.
- Let the cheesecake cool, then drizzle with honey sauce before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use roasted pistachios.
- Allow the cheesecake to chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Garnish with additional chopped pistachios if desired.
