Instructions
- Rinse the grated potatoes in cold water to remove excess starch.
- Drain and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
- In a bowl, mix the grated potatoes with chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread the potato mixture evenly in the skillet and press down.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
- Flip the hash browns and cook for another 5-7 minutes until crispy and golden on both sides.
- Remove from the skillet and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic powder or paprika to the potato mixture.
- Serve with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
