- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the sliced bell peppers, onion, and garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Top with the Italian sausage.
- Add the diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, stir and serve with crusty bread or over pasta.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, use hot Italian sausage.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini or mushrooms.
