Description

Baked Greek Yogurt Chicken is a deliciously tender and flavorful dish featuring chicken breasts marinated in creamy Greek yogurt, garlic, and aromatic herbs, then baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, thyme, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a medium mixing bowl until thoroughly combined.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat each piece with the marinade.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or ideally overnight.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated chicken breasts evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken overnight. You can also use an air fryer for a quicker cooking option.
