Description

A creamy, nostalgic dessert featuring layers of pudding, bananas, and vanilla wafers, topped with whipped cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the milk, heavy cream, vanilla pudding mix, and vanilla extract until blended smoothly.
  2. Layer half of the crushed vanilla wafers over the pre-made pie crust.
  3. Arrange half of the sliced bananas over the wafers.
  4. Pour half of the pudding mixture over the bananas, spreading it evenly.
  5. Repeat the process with the remaining vanilla wafers, bananas, and pudding.
  6. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for a minimum of 240 minutes.
  7. Top generously with whipped cream before serving.

Notes

For a twist, add a sprinkle of cinnamon or chocolate shavings on top of the whipped cream. Prepare a day in advance for deeper flavors.
