- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
- Mix the dry ingredients separately, then fold them into the wet mixture.
- Add the chocolate chips and fold gently until combined.
- Scoop the dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden and centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
