Description

Deliciously rich and chewy cookies with a perfect balance of textures, elevated flavors, and melty chocolate chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients separately, then fold them into the wet mixture.
  5. Add the chocolate chips and fold gently until combined.
  6. Scoop the dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden and centers are soft.
  8. Cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
