Description

A comforting Burrito Casserole layered with seasoned beef, creamy refried beans, and melty cheese, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 Flour Tortillas
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can Refried Beans
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 cups Cooked Rice
  • 2 cups Cheese (Cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • Toppings: Diced Tomatoes, Chopped Cilantro, Avocado, Jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and seasoned.
  3. Layer flour tortillas in a baking dish, slightly overlapping.
  4. Spread refried beans over the tortillas evenly.
  5. Add the cooked ground beef over the beans.
  6. Sprinkle cooked rice over the beef layer.
  7. Layer sour cream over the rice.
  8. Sprinkle cheese on top generously.
  9. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
  11. Cool slightly, add desired toppings, slice, and serve hot.
