- 8 oz Cheese Tortellini
- 1 lb Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 cloves Fresh Garlic (minced)
- Zest of 1 Lemon
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley (chopped)
- Salt & Black Pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini until they float to the top. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic, stirring gently.
- Add Shrimp: Toss shrimp into the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Prepare the Sauce: Pour in heavy cream and lemon zest, stirring to combine and letting it thicken slightly.
- Season: Add salt and black pepper to taste.
- Combine Tortellini and Sauce: Gently fold the cooked tortellini into the skillet until well coated.
- Serve: Plate the dish, garnish with parsley and Parmesan, and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter sauce, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. You can also customize by adding sautéed spinach or sun-dried tomatoes.
