Description

A healthier twist on traditional pizza with a savory ground chicken crust, topped with mozzarella and pepperoni.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine the ground chicken, 1 cup shredded mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping it into a pizza form about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy around the edges.
  5. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the pizza sauce over the top.
  6. Add the remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle the pepperoni slices on top.
  7. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese bubbles and turns golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few moments, then slice and serve.

Notes

You can prepare the chicken crust in advance and store it in the fridge for up to a day. Feel free to customize toppings to your preference.
