Description

A delightful fusion of creamy sweetness and crunchy cinnamon-sugar crust that evokes the experience of churros.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease your 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add in 1 cup of sugar, then incorporate the eggs, vanilla, flour, and cinnamon until light and fluffy.
  4. Pour the cream cheese filling over the crust and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the center is just set. Cool completely before slicing.
  6. Mix the remaining 1/4 cup sugar with ground cinnamon and sprinkle over the bars before serving.
