- 1 lb Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1/2 cup Cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup Lime Juice
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 8 Corn or Flour Tortillas
- Toppings: Avocado, salsa, shredded lettuce, cheese, crema
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the lime juice, olive oil, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, and taco seasoning until well combined.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag or a large bowl and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the bowl, letting it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the Chicken: Take the chicken out of the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Rest and Slice: Remove the chicken and let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain into strips.
- Assemble Your Tacos: Place the grilled chicken strips inside warm tortillas and top with avocado, salsa, shredded lettuce, cheese, and crema.
Notes
You can marinate the chicken a day ahead to deepen the flavors. Customize toppings according to your preference.
