- 350ml Water
- 100g Sourdough Starter
- 10g Salt
- 30ml Olive Oil
- 30g Honey
Instructions
- Mix the Dough: In a large bowl, combine 500g of bread flour and 350ml of water. Stir until no dry flour remains.
- Add the Starters: Incorporate 100g of your bubbly sourdough starter, 10g salt, 30ml olive oil, and 30g honey. Mix together until fully blended.
- Knead the Dough: Transfer to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- First Rise: Lightly oil a bowl, place the dough inside, cover with a cloth, and let it rise until doubled, about 4-6 hours.
- Shape the Loaf: Gently tip your dough out and shape it into a round loaf. Rest covered for 30-60 minutes.
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
- Transfer to the Dutch Oven: Place your loaf inside the hot Dutch oven, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and Bake: Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden.
- Cool: Let your loaf cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
For best results, ensure your sourdough starter is active before starting. Adjust rising times based on environment.
