Description

A delightful pasta salad bursting with flavor from crispy bacon, creamy ranch dressing, and colorful peas.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (rotini, penne, or bowtie)
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your chosen pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and spread it out on a baking sheet to cool completely.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, toss together the cooled pasta, chopped bacon, peas, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Mix in the ranch dressing: Pour the ranch dressing over the pasta mixture and gently toss everything together.
  4. Season: Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste, then give it a final toss.
  5. Optional enhancement: Toss in sliced green onions for extra flavor.
  6. Serve: You can serve it immediately or let it chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes for enhanced flavors.

Notes

Keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days; great for meal prep.
