- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fajita seasoning
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Tortillas for serving
- Optional toppings: Sour cream, salsa, cheese, guacamole
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken breasts with olive oil and fajita seasoning. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the chicken: Heat your non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and no longer pink in the center. Remove and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Sauté the vegetables: In the same skillet, toss in the sliced bell peppers and onions. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they soften.
- Slice and combine: Slice the chicken into strips and return it to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables, stirring gently to combine.
- Serve: Warm your tortillas and place the chicken and vegetable mixture inside. Add your favorite toppings.
Notes
Marinate the chicken ahead of time for extra flavor. Warm tortillas make a better wrap. Air fry the chicken if desired.
