Description

A delightful crunch of perfectly fried shrimp, enveloped in a golden, crispy crust, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Lemon slices for serving
  • Dipping sauce of choice

Instructions

  1. Prepare your breading station with seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs in three shallow bowls.
  2. Coat each shrimp in the flour, then egg, and finally roll in the panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat enough oil in a deep skillet or Dutch oven to reach about 2 inches in depth over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and serve immediately with lemon slices and your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For maximum crispiness, fry the shrimp in batches and maintain a consistent oil temperature.
