Description

A comforting and flavorful dish featuring bowtie pasta tossed in creamy garlic butter with hearty ground beef and topped with Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken or beef broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Let it swirl around until bubbly and fragrant.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for about 1 minute. Keep an eye on it; you want it golden and aromatic, not burnt.
  4. Toss in the ground beef, breaking it apart with your wooden spoon. Cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  5. Pour in the broth, stirring gently. Bring to a simmer and let the flavors meld for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked bowtie pasta and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing everything until the pasta is well coated and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting until it sings exactly how you like it.
  8. Finally, garnish generously with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground turkey. You can also use gluten-free pasta if needed.
