Description
A comforting and flavorful dish featuring bowtie pasta tossed in creamy garlic butter with hearty ground beef and topped with Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken or beef broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Let it swirl around until bubbly and fragrant.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for about 1 minute. Keep an eye on it; you want it golden and aromatic, not burnt.
- Toss in the ground beef, breaking it apart with your wooden spoon. Cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Pour in the broth, stirring gently. Bring to a simmer and let the flavors meld for about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked bowtie pasta and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing everything until the pasta is well coated and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting until it sings exactly how you like it.
- Finally, garnish generously with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute ground turkey. You can also use gluten-free pasta if needed.
