Instructions
- Activate the yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Allow this mixture to sit for 5 minutes until it bubbles and foams.
- Make the dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, knead until smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
- Let it rise: Cover the bowl with a towel or plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm spot for about an hour until doubled in size.
- Prepare for baking: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Shape the bombs: Punch down the dough, divide into pieces, flatten each, and add mozzarella in the center, sealing well.
- Arrange on a baking sheet, giving them space.
- Brush with garlic butter: Mix melted butter with minced garlic and parsley, then brush over each dough ball.
- Bake them up: Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
