Description

A simple yet flavorful dish combining pasta with a rich garlic butter sauce, complemented by Parmesan and fresh parsley.


Ingredients

  • Pasta (Spaghetti or Fettuccine)
  • Butter (Unsalted)
  • Garlic (Minced)
  • Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Parsley (Chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil and season it with salt. Add pasta and cook until al dente (8 to 10 minutes), then drain and reserve a cup of cooking water.
  2. Melt the Butter: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until pale golden.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: Add minced garlic to the butter and stir for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.
  4. Combine Pasta with Garlic Butter: Toss drained pasta in the skillet with garlic butter, adding reserved cooking water if needed for creaminess.
  5. Season and Serve: Sprinkle with Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a vegan version, use olive oil and nutritional yeast. Customize with proteins like chicken or shrimp, or add seasonal vegetables.
