- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream

- 1/4 cup edible gold leaf
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the water and butter in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Add the flour and salt all at once, and stir vigorously until a smooth ball forms.
- Remove from heat and allow the dough to cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing until smooth and glossy.
- Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a plain round tip.

- Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Cut the tops of the cooled pastry puffs and fill them with whipped cream.
- Melt dark chocolate and drizzle it over the filled profiteroles.
- Decorate with edible gold leaf for a stunning finish.
