- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Layer a slice of ham and then Swiss cheese on each chicken breast. Roll them tightly.
- Set up a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
- Coat each chicken roll in flour, dip in eggs, and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, and fry chicken rolls until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side).
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
You can customize the filling with vegetables or different cheeses. For lighter cooking, use an air fryer.
