A delightful dish of ground lamb stuffed in pita, grilled to perfection with a burst of spices and crispy texture.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground lamb
- 2 pita breads
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for brushing
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the ground lamb, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well until evenly incorporated.
- Cut each pita bread in half to create pockets.
- Stuff the lamb mixture into each pita pocket, pressing to secure the filling.
- Preheat your grill over medium heat and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Grill the stuffed pitas for about 4–5 minutes on each side, until cooked through and golden brown.
- Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh parsley before serving hot.
Notes
Make the lamb mixture a day in advance for added flavor. You can also bake or air fry if grilling isn’t possible.
