- 1 pound ground lamb
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 4 pita breads
- Olive oil, for brushing
Instructions
- Combine ground lamb, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic, and onion in a large mixing bowl.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Cut each pita bread in half to create pockets.
- Stuff each half with the lamb mixture, ensuring not to overfill.
- Brush the outside of each stuffed pita with olive oil.
- Place the stuffed pitas on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden.
- Remove the pitas from the grill and serve warm, optionally with yogurt or fresh herbs.
Notes
