Description

Tender, flavorful lamb stuffed into crispy pita, delivering a tantalizing treat perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 4 pita breads
  • Olive oil, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Combine ground lamb, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic, and onion in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Cut each pita bread in half to create pockets.
  4. Stuff each half with the lamb mixture, ensuring not to overfill.
  5. Brush the outside of each stuffed pita with olive oil.
  6. Place the stuffed pitas on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden.
  7. Remove the pitas from the grill and serve warm, optionally with yogurt or fresh herbs.

Notes
