Description

A delightful dessert with layers of airy angel food cake, creamy vanilla pudding, and sweet-tart cherry filling. Perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 package of angel food cake mix
  • 1 package of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1 can of cherry pie filling
  • Chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the angel food cake according to package instructions; allow it to cool completely.
  2. Whisk the pudding mix with the milk until thickened.
  3. Fold in the whipped cream gently.
  4. Layer half of the cake pieces in a trifle dish.
  5. Add half of the pudding mixture over the cake, followed by half of the cherry filling.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, pudding, and cherry filling.
  7. Top with whipped cream and optional nuts.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
