Description

A comforting dish that combines the sweetness of honey and the boldness of garlic, creating a delectable glaze for tender chicken breasts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat.
  3. Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. Slide the chicken breasts into the pan, cooking until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken, reduce heat to low, and let simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the Honey Garlic Chicken over fluffy rice, spooning extra sauce over the top.

Notes

Make the honey garlic sauce a day in advance for deeper flavors. For a quick option, use an air fryer to make the chicken.
