Description

Delicious low-carb garlic breadsticks made with almond flour, mozzarella, and cream cheese for a guilt-free indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Butter for brushing
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the cheeses by combining mozzarella and cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, then heat for another 30 seconds until melted and smooth.
  3. Mix dry ingredients by whisking together almond flour, baking powder, minced garlic, salt, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl.
  4. Combine the melted cheese mixture with the dry ingredients, then add the egg. Mix until a soft, cohesive dough forms.
  5. Shape the dough into 8-10 equal pieces and form each piece into a breadstick on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to a month.
