Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk together the maple syrup, minced garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a small mixing bowl.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a spacious baking dish and pour the maple garlic sauce over the chicken.
  4. Slide the dish into the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  5. Remove the baking dish from the oven and sprinkle the crispy crumbled bacon over the top of the chicken.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the maple garlic sauce for a few hours or overnight. This recipe can also be adapted for an air fryer.
