- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Whisk together the maple syrup, minced garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a small mixing bowl.
- Place the chicken breasts in a spacious baking dish and pour the maple garlic sauce over the chicken.
- Slide the dish into the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the baking dish from the oven and sprinkle the crispy crumbled bacon over the top of the chicken.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the maple garlic sauce for a few hours or overnight. This recipe can also be adapted for an air fryer.
