- 2 boxes instant lemon pudding mix
- 3 cups milk
- 1 tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 box vanilla wafers
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional for garnish)
- Sliced lemons (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together the lemon pudding mix and milk until smooth and free of lumps. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.
- Fold in the whipped topping until seamlessly combined.
- Layer half of the vanilla wafers on the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
- Spread half of the lemon pudding mixture over the wafers.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining wafers and pudding mixture.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or overnight.
- Sprinkle with lemon zest and garnish with sliced lemons before serving.
Notes
