Description

A quick and easy recipe for delicious stovetop bread that requires no oven, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Extra butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. Mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Pour in the milk and melted butter, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 3–5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a pat of butter.
  6. Flatten each ball slightly and place them in the skillet.
  7. Cook each side for about 4–5 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with butter and honey.
