Description

A comforting one pot dish featuring creamy garlic sauce and pasta, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or penne recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk (non-dairy alternatives work beautifully too)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In your large pot, melt the butter over medium heat until it bubbles gently, releasing its rich aroma.
  2. Add the minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Toss in the dry pasta, followed by the milk, stirring gently to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta reaches al dente.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts into the rich sauce, tasting and seasoning with salt and pepper as you go.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For make-ahead tips, create a creamy base earlier in the day and reheat just before serving. Customize with veggies or proteins as desired.
