- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Zest of 1 orange
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground ginger until evenly blended.
- In another bowl, beat together the honey, sugar, and eggs until smooth and well combined.
- Stir in the orange juice, vegetable oil, and orange zest, mixing until everything is well incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
Notes
This cake can be made a day before serving to enhance flavor. It can also be baked in an air fryer for a different method.
