Description

A delightful Peach Trifle layered with juicy peaches, fluffy whipped cream, and soft pound cake, perfect for summer celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 pound of pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Start preparing the pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and the milk until thickened. This usually takes about 2 minutes.
  2. Whip the cream: In another bowl, blend the whipped cream with sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  3. Assemble the layers: In a large trifle dish or bowl, layer half of the cake cubes at the bottom, followed by half of the sliced peaches, half of the prepared pudding, and half of the whipped cream.
  4. Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
  5. Finish it up: Top with a final layer of whipped cream, smoothing it out, and garnish with additional peach slices.
  6. Chill: Place your trifle in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

This trifle can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Avoid using unripe peaches to retain the best flavor.
