Description

A comforting twist on the iconic sandwich, Philly Cheesesteak Pasta combines ground beef, bell peppers, and cheese into a creamy pasta dish that’s perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (provolone or mozzarella)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni in a large pot of salted boiling water until slightly undercooked. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the skillet with olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Brown the ground beef in the skillet for 5–7 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Sauté the sliced bell peppers and onions for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  5. Add the beef broth and simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Combine the cooked macaroni and shredded cheese, stirring until melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve warm in bowls.
