Description

Delicious and easy-to-make cheesy chicken buns that are perfect for any gathering or cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Buns (store-bought or homemade)
  • Butter for brushing (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the shredded chicken, cheese, mayonnaise, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Cut the buns in half and fill each with the chicken mixture.
  4. Place the filled buns on a baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  5. Optionally, brush the tops with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the buns are golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For make-ahead preparation, store the chicken mixture in the refrigerator until ready to fill the buns. You can also use an air fryer for quicker cooking.
