Description

Delicious salmon balls served with a creamy avocado sauce, perfect for gatherings or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh salmon, cooked and flaked
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Chopped herbs (like dill or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the cooked salmon, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, garlic powder, egg, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Place them evenly spaced on a prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake the salmon balls for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown, flipping halfway.
  6. Prepare the creamy avocado sauce by blending the avocado, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  7. Serve warm alongside the avocado sauce for dipping, garnished with fresh herbs.

Notes

You can make the salmon mixture a day in advance and keep it in the fridge. For a quicker method, use an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 12-14 minutes.
