Description

A delightful sourdough boule made in one day with a crunchy crust and soft interior, topped with a savory everything seed blend.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g bread flour
  • 350g warm water
  • 100g active sourdough starter
  • 10g salt
  • 2 tablespoons everything seed blend

Instructions

  1. Mix the bread flour and warm water in a large bowl until just combined. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Add the active sourdough starter and salt, kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  3. Let the dough rise at room temperature for 4–6 hours, folding every hour.
  4. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and shape it into a round boule.
  5. Place the dough on a parchment-lined baking dish and cover for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  7. Score a design on the loaf’s top and sprinkle with the everything seed blend.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
  9. Cool completely before slicing.
