Description

A quick and customizable skillet pizza with a perfectly crispy crust, topped with gooey cheese and your favorite ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Pizza Dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Assorted Toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, prosciutto, figs, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to fit your skillet.
  3. Cook the crust in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust.
  5. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  6. Scatter your choice of toppings evenly over the cheese.
  7. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 5-8 minutes until cheese melts.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing and serving hot.

Notes

Prepare dough and sauce a day in advance for convenience. Experiment with different toppings for variety.
