  1. Combine your liquids: In a large bowl, mix the warm water, active sourdough starter, and sugar until thoroughly combined.
  2. Forming the dough: Gradually add in the all-purpose flour and salt. Stir until a rough dough forms.
  3. Kneading: Lightly flour your work surface and knead the dough for about 10 minutes.
  4. First rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rest in a warm place for 4-6 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
  5. Shaping: Once risen, shape the dough into a loaf and place it into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Second rise: Let the dough rise again for 1-2 hours.
  7. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Bake: Place your loaf in the oven and let it bake for 30-35 minutes.
