Description
A delightful fusion of spaghetti and tacos, combining tender noodles with seasoned ground beef in a crunchy shell for a fun family meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 taco seasoning packet
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 8 taco shells
- Optional: Diced onions, bell peppers, or other veggies
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the ground beef: Heat your skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with your wooden spoon. Cook until it’s fully browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Season the beef: Sprinkle in the taco seasoning and add the diced tomatoes to the beef. Stir well and let this mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Assemble the tacos: Take each taco shell and fill it generously with a portion of the spaghetti. Top with the seasoned beef mixture.
- Finish with freshness: Add shredded lettuce and a sprinkle of cheese on each taco, and toss in any optional veggies. Serve immediately.
Notes
Experiment with toppings like guacamole or salsa for extra flavor. To avoid soggy tacos, assemble right before serving.
