Description

Deliciously cheesy quesadillas filled with tender steak and caramelized vegetables, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked steak, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet: Begin by pouring olive oil into your heavy-duty skillet and heating it over medium.
  2. Sauté the veggies: Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened and caramelized, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lay down the first tortilla: Place one flour tortilla flat in the skillet.
  4. Layer skillfully: Spread a generous amount of shredded cheese on one half, followed by the sliced steak and sautéed onions and bell peppers.
  5. Fold with love: Carefully fold the tortilla in half to enclose the filling.
  6. Cook until golden perfection: Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Slice and serve: Remove from skillet, slice into wedges, and serve warm.

Notes

Customize with jalapeños or black beans for a twist.
