Description

A delightful and easy dessert that combines the sweetness of strawberries with the creamy texture of cheesecake in a dump cake format.


Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 can strawberry pie filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup water or milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
  3. Grease your baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  4. Layer the strawberry pie filling evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling.
  6. Mix the cake mix with water or milk and melted butter in another bowl.
  7. Pour the cake batter over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow the cake to cool on a wire rack, then chill before serving.
  10. Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.
