Description

A comforting and nostalgic meatloaf infused with seasoned stuffing, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the ground beef, seasoned stuffing mix, milk, chopped onion, green bell pepper, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  4. Pour the glaze made of ketchup and brown sugar over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for one hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Rest for several minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. For a vegetarian version, use lentils or a meat alternative.
