Description

A comforting and hearty casserole featuring ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, and crispy tater tots, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, about 10 minutes, then drain excess grease.
  3. Combine the cream of mushroom soup and milk in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Add the cooked beef to the soup mixture, season with salt and pepper, and stir until fully combined.
  5. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the beef mixture.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  9. Return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
