Description

Crispy Brussels sprouts coated in a sweet and tangy teriyaki glaze, topped with sesame seeds and green onions.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  5. Remove from the oven and drizzle with teriyaki sauce, tossing to coat.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: You can prep the Brussels sprouts a day in advance. For extra flavor, add minced garlic or chili flakes.
